I’ve spent my life making music

My diversity of experience and education allows me to combine music theory with a rich understanding of what works best in any given setting.

I have composed for short and feature-length films, recorded and produced other musicians as well as my own work. As a performing keyboardist and pianist, I have 30+ years experience and have played the gamut of nightclubs to stadiums, weddings to festivals.

COMPOSER

I have composed the scores for several independent films including Read Me (2016), Average Community(2009), A Tale of Two Megans (2006), Entering Wendy (2005), and Skippy LIghtfoot's Perfect Day (2003).

I also composed and performed piano an album of original compositions from these films and beyond called Slow Motion Departure.

EDUCATION

I have spent my life furthering my understanding of music, including a Masters in Music Composition from the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program at the Seattle Film Institute, a degree in Jazz Piano Performance from the Cornish College of the Arts (Seattle, WA) and continuing education at Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) and have studied piano privately with Peter Mack, Randy Halberstadt, and others.
