Ron Leonardi has been playing keyboards in bands since age 16 and has played in a variety of original and cover bands in the Seattle, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania areas.

Ron was keyboardist for East Coast original bands, Doctor Z, and Tugg's Ego. He has recorded with New Jersey singer songwriter Brian Nicolini.
Ron was a keyboardist for the Seattle- Based improv comedy troupe, Jet City Improv, for 4 Years (1999-2003), where he would regularly be asked to compose, on the fly, for improvised sketch comedy. This experience helped hone his talent for styling a variety of music genres.
Play That Funky Music
As a member of various cover bands, Ron has played genres ranging from top 40 and pop, to classic and alternative rock, to motown and soul, to funk and disco. In the early 90s, Ron was a member of the Philadelphia-based alternative rock cover band, Throttle, produced by Billy Stott.
Ron currently plays with the 70's disco/funk tribute band: Sonic Funk Orchestra, which plays premium venues around the Puget Sound Region, including: the Bite of Seattle, Taste of Tacoma, Seven Cedars Casino, Red Winds Casino, and Seattle's New Year's Celebration at Seattle Center.
