Ron's diversity of experience and education that allows him to combine music theory with a rich understanding of what works best in any given setting. Ron is an alumnus of Rutgers University (New Brunswick, NJ), The Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA), and an honors graduate of the Cornish College of the Arts (Seattle, WA) where he earned a bachelor of arts in jazz piano performance.
An Experienced Performer
Ron is an eclectic and versatile player. As a keyboardist and pianist he has over 20 years of experience working as both a session and live musician, spanning both coasts.

Ron has years of experience in the East Coast pop-rock scene. He has been the keyboardist with the bands Doctor Z, Polyguana, Hot Fudge Sunday, and Throttle (managed by respected Philadelphia promoter Billy Stott). Ron has also worked as a pianist providing nightly musical entertainment to guests on board small cruise ships to Alaska, and with Jet City Improv, the successful Seattle-based improvisational-comedy troupe.
Currently Ron is the keyboardist for Sonic Funk Orchestra, the 11- piece, 70’s disco/funk revue, which performs at casinos, festivals, and private functions throughout the Northwest. He is also a guitarist with White Trash Whiplash, the alt-rock/country-twang band that performs at many prominent music venues throughout the greater Seattle area.

He can be heard on several CD’s as a keyboardist and arranger, including Time Running Out (Tugg's Ego); Fairy-Tale Love (Bryan Nicolini), and Sanctification (Doctor Z).
Ron also enjoys creating new music as a composer and songwriter. He has the experience and training to compose great songs in styles as diverse as pop, hardrock, electronic, classical, and jazz. Ron has also composed, arranged and recorded the original scores for several independent films, including: Skippy Lightfoot’s Perfect Day, Entering Wendy, and A Tale of Two Megans produced by Sketchbook Productions.
Instructor
Ron also enjoys sharing his love of music with others. He is currently in high demand as a piano and guitar instructor in the Mercer Island subarb of Seattle, WA.
